USS Phoenix is the flagship of Manchester Starfleet (MSF).
Manchester Starfleet is committed to creating a safe and welcoming space for

Our mission is to
celebrate the rich history and legacy of Star Trek, promote
understanding and appreciation for the show's positive messages of peace, cooperation, and
diversity.
Star Trek is a show that has the power to inspire and unite people, and we are committed
to using our fan club to make a positive difference in the world. We do this by:
Providing a space for fans to come together and celebrate their love of Star Trek.

Taking action to make the world a more just and equitable place, in line with the values of Star
Trek.
We believe that Star Trek is more than just a TV show. It is a vision of a better future, and we

Our activities
We offer a variety of activities for members to enjoy.
Meetings: We have organised club meetings once a month.
Board games: We regularly play Star Trek board games, such as Star Trek: Away Missions.
Quizzes: We host quizzes on Star Trek trivia, such as the history of the show, the
different
species and planets, and the characters. On our special Tribble-themed quizzes members can test
their knowledge of all things Star Trek.
Discussions: We have regular discussions on Star Trek topics, such as the latest episodes and
movies, the characters, and the show's social and political commentary. We also have a Discord
server where
members can discuss Star Trek topics in more depth.
Cosplay: We have members who like to cosplay and everyone is encouraged to show off their
Star Trek
costumes.
Conventions: We attend Star Trek conventions and other events, where we can meet other fans
and celebrate our love of Star Trek.
These are just a few of the activities that the Manchester Starfleet offers. We are
always looking for
new and creative ways to celebrate Star Trek, so if you have any ideas, please let us know!
Our history
Manchester Starfleet has been around for many
years. It was founded in the early 1990s by a group of fans who were inspired by the show's
message
of hope and cooperation. They were particularly drawn to the show's depiction of a future where
humans and aliens could live together in peace and harmony. They wanted to create a space where
they
could come together to celebrate their love of Star Trek and discuss the show's positive
messages.
The club started out small, but it quickly grew in popularity. Members came from all walks of
life,
but they were all united by their love of Star Trek. The club was committed to creating a safe
and
welcoming space for all fans.
